Netflix India - South Launch
In July 2021, Netflix India announced a launch of the “Netflix India South” twitter page, that focused primarily on promoting content from Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil movies. This was The Rabbit Hole’s first independent campaign – where we covered almost all of the packaging for this launch.
As a part of the launch, the amazing design team at TRH created a series of posts, bringing a distinct South Indian twist to existing Netflix content – from dressing Pablo Escobar in a Mundu and the BoJack Horseman in a dhoti, to transporting Emily from Paris to Palakkad, to create some buzz for the launch.
The team also created the vibrant Twitter header, replete with distinct South Indian motifs such as the mask of a kathak dancers, palm trees and pookalams, to welcome the audience to the page.
To cap off the launch, the team created the cover art for the rap music track Namma Stories, Netflix India’s South Anthem, that featured prominent South Indian artistes Arivu, SIRI, Neeraj Madhav (NJ) and Hanumankind. The track is now streaming on all major streaming platforms.
